Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all products, services, software, and platforms operated by Skcript Technologies Private Limited, including but not limited to S1 EDGE, and Skcript.com (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

“Skcript” means Skcript Technologies Private Limited, its subsidiaries, and affiliates. “You” / “Customer” means the individual or entity using the Services. “Services” means Skcript’s platforms and offerings, including FeatureOS, S1 EDGE, and associated tools, APIs, dashboards, and applications. “S1 EDGE” means Skcript’s automation platform for document processing, data extraction, and AI-powered workflows. “FeatureOS” means Skcript’s product management platform. “Authorized Users” means those individuals authorized by you to access and use the Services. “Input Data” means all content, data, media, or documents submitted by you or on your behalf into the Services. “Output Data” means any content, insights, or results generated by the Services based on Input Data. “Confidential Information” means all non-public business, technical, or financial information disclosed by either party.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have legal consent from a guardian).
  • You can legally enter into a binding contract.
  • You are not prohibited from using the Services by law.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for securing your account credentials.
  • You are liable for any activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
  • Upload harmful code, viruses, or malware.
  • Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or exploit the Services.
  • Circumvent access controls or interfere with system integrity.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Skcript retains ownership of all intellectual property related to the Services.
  • You retain ownership of Input Data.
  • You grant Skcript a limited license to process Input Data as needed to provide the Services.
  • Output Data generated by the Services may be used by you, subject to compliance with these Terms.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Access to certain Services may require a subscription.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes and fees.

7. Product-Specific Terms

FeatureOS

  • Provides feedback boards, roadmaps, changelogs, and knowledge bases.
  • You control your organization’s data.
  • Skcript may use anonymized usage data to improve the platform.

S1 EDGE

  • Automates document analysis, media extraction, and multi-format workflows.
  • You are responsible for the legality of uploaded data.
  • No Input Data is used to train models unless explicitly agreed in writing.

8. Confidentiality

  • Each party agrees to keep the other’s Confidential Information secure.
  • Confidential Information may only be disclosed with written consent or as required by law.

9. Data Security & Privacy

  • Skcript maintains industry-standard security protocols.
  • If you handle personal data through our Services, you must ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • A separate Data Processing Addendum (DPA) may apply where relevant.

10. Termination

  • Skcript may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
  • Upon termination, your access ends immediately.
  • Sections related to IP, liability, and confidentiality survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

  • Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • Skcript makes no warranties of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Skcript is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Modifications

  • These Terms may be updated from time to time.
  • Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
  • Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
